Meet Dr. John Kruszewski (Toledo, OH)

John Kruszewski, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry cum laude from The Ohio State University in 1986 and completed his undergraduate studies at John Carroll University. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Ohio Optometric Association, and is also a past president of the Toledo Area Optometric Society. Dr. Kruszewski is also a volunteer and active member of the Sylvania Sunrise Lions Club and has served as the club’s president.

Dr. Kruszewski began his career as a naval officer serving as Staff Optometrist and Contact Lens Clinic Coordinator at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital. As a young man, he learned about the importance of good vision and the impact it has on learning and overall quality of life. Dr. Kruszewski particularly enjoys being able to communicate with and educate his patients about their specific eye conditions and creating an individual plan to improve their vision and general eye health.
